This is a Contract position in Earth City, MO posted March 31, 2021.

Interface Security Systems is actively seeking a detailed and team-oriented individual to join our company as a Integrated Field Service Dispatcher on our Service Department team SUMMARY: INTEGRATED FIELD SERVICE DISPATCHER The Integrated Field Service Dispatcher will perform dispatching and administrative duties to receive, screen, record, prioritize, assign to technicians, and then close customer requests for service on their alarm and network systems. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE INTEGRATED FIELD SERVICE DISPATCHER Answer inbound calls from customers and service technicians in a professional manner; Competently dispatch calls and assign service requests to appropriate technicians; Create service tickets; Review customer/account history; Make outbound calls to schedule service appointments; Close service tickets to prepare for billing; Process parts order requests with purchasing department; Weekend and Holiday Rotation Required. Other tasks and duties as assigned. INTEGRATED FIELD SERVICE DISPATCHER QUALIFICATIONS To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Minimum two years customer service and/or service dispatch experience (in a professional business setting). SKILLS Proficient typing skills are a must. Microsoft Office proficient (especially Excel). Critical and logical thinking required: the ideal candidate will learn the Interface processes and systems and possess the ability to work independently and successfully to resolve day-to-day issues. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize. Ability to maintain a sense of urgency and follow tasks through to completion. The employee must frequently lift objects up to 10 pounds that could include company materials, files, and small equipment. Specific vision abilities by this job include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus in order to view reports, computer screen, forms and operating manuals.
