Posting Job DescriptionJOB SUMMARYThis role manages physical security operations for the Charter Communications’ Corporate Campus, facilities and retail locations within the assigned division.

The manager leads the in-house security team and coordinates the contract security assets; utilizes video surveillance platforms, access control and alarm systems; safeguarding Charter employees, vendors and visitors, as well as equipment and facilities.

This position also oversees Corporate Physical Security (CPS) projects, programs and facilitates investigations within their division and ensures compliance with company policies, legal and regulatory requirements.

The manager will assume the role and responsibilities of the next level in the chain of command in their absence.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProvide leadership and guidance in the day to day management of the in-house security team and contracted security assets, as needed.

This will include, but not limited to:* Ensure smooth onboarding (i.e.

badge access, uniforms)* Effective training is completed in compliance with CPS guidelines (in-house security team only)* Development of the team through mentoring and performance evaluation (in-house security teamonly)* Review schedule for accuracy and ensure appropriate level of staffing is achieved* Reward and recognition for high performing individualsEnsure the in-house security team and contract security assets comply with Charter and CPS policies and procedures at all sitesProvide guidance on industry best practices, standards and new technologiesCreate and review department policies and procedures for in-house and contracted security personnel to ensure they are compliant with federal, state and local laws and regulations (Emergency Action Plans, Critical Incident Response, post orders, reporting)Ensure accuracy and compliance with established vendor contracts for providing security related equipment and services to the division (assess invoices, cost estimations, purchase orders, etc.)Acts as the liaison for CPS with internal partners, law enforcement and other first responders regarding security matters, conducting briefings and coordination as requiredBe available 24×7 to provide support and response for critical incidents and events, as neededManage critical incident response and coordinate with internal/external partnersReview Daily Activity Reports ensuring incidents and issues are handled appropriately and in compliance with established policies and proceduresConduct analysis of security activities across the division, identify vulnerabilities, provide mitigation recommendations and brief leadership on trends and significant incidentsManage the security team and contract security in monitoring and responding to technological assets (camera surveillance platforms, access control and alarm systems)Facilitate and track necessary ordering and maintenance of equipmentCoordinate and facilitate investigations of workplace incidents across the divisionAssist with CPS related projects, as neededREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSSkills/Abilities and KnowledgeAbility to read, write, speak and understand EnglishExcellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skillsSkilled in various computer software packages, particularly Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and familiar with networking systemsKnowledgeable in federal, state and local regulations and industry best practices relevant to private and corporate securityKnowledgeable in federal, state and local regulations relevant to the company (i.e.

Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), Payment Card Industry (PCI) standards, Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI) rules, Personally Identifiable Information (PII) safeguards, System and Organizational Control (SOC) auditing, and Data Privacy)Knowledge of security operations: risk assessment, planning, asset allocation and executionDemonstrated experience writing security related policy and proceduresExperience using video surveillance platforms, access control and alarm systemsExperience in program management, budget processes and forecastingCapable of receiving and analyzing threat intelligenceCorporate work experience promoting a customer service oriented atmosphere of securityExperience leading a team and evaluating direct reportsEducationBachelor’s degree, Associate’s degree or equivalent work experienceRelated Work Experience10+ years combined experience in conducting security operations and investigations3+ years of supervisory, and or management experiencePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSSkills/Abilities and KnowledgeMilitary or law enforcement background; certification in related security fields (CPP, PCI, PSP, CFE, CFI)WORKING CONDITIONSCorporate office environment24x7 availabilitySignificant travel within Division
