Business Development Representative

This is a Full-time position in Kansas City, MO posted April 1, 2021.

Job Purpose:

The Business Development Representative is responsible for bringing in new local business opportunities, usually through cold email, cold calls, networking, and social selling.  


  • Bring in new local business via various networking and communicating techniques.
  • Maintain communication with customers to drive account growth and ensure customers’ day-to-day and long-term needs are met.
  • Work closely with other departments and ensure that new accounts are transitioned properly, and client needs are being met.
  • Maintain post-sale contact with customers to facilitate a positive and productive long-term relationship.
  • Responsible for personal productivity, using all company tools and systems to maximize revenue and continually accelerate growth
  • Travel throughout local territory as needed.
  • Performs special projects and completes all other duties as assigned or requested for the general support of the organization.


·Bachelor’s degree required. Strong computer proficiency (Excel, Outlook, and Word) and strong keyboard skills, the ability to analyze and resolve problems and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Possess excellent proofreading and troubleshooting skills as well as attention to detail. Previous Sales experience is a must.
