This is an experienced retirement product professional responsible for taking calls from client facing field members to help with providing technical understanding of qualified plan design and rules and regulations, coaching on implementation of an effective service model, providing information on product solutions that meet the needs of businesses owners and their employees, and individual retirement goals and objectives.

Provide an overall assessment of the competitive landscape to determine appropriate tools and resources needed to maintain the employer sponsored retirement plan business.

This individual will work with management, product managers, team leads and team members in identifying developmental needs and providing coaching techniques and recommendations to improve retirement sales and support.

This will also consist of assisting in the creation and review of supporting advisor and client-facing materials.

The ideal candidate is service oriented, adapts easily to change, collaborative and works well in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include: * Providing one-on-one sales coaching, product support and education to financial advisors through a high volume, in-bound and out-bound phone consultation.

* Identifying and assessing risks associated with the financial advisors’ inquiries and following defined escalation process.

* Assisting with phone calls and/or research from less-experienced team members and/or provide guidance on proper resolutions.

* Leading by example in supporting department initiatives and Wells Fargo’s Visions and Values.

* Analyzing the trends in the retirement market and proactively provide sales ideas to grow and retain retirement business.

* Collaborating with management and/or product managers and team leads in the communication and execution of business initiatives.

* Participating in sales presentations or conference calls based on product knowledge.

* Contributing to the development of new or the re-design of existing sales ideas and materials to meet business needs.

* Taking ownership of select business processes as needed.

* Attending Meetings and Events (may include evenings) hosted by Wells Fargo Advisors or our Strategic Relationships to discuss retirement product sales ideas and initiatives.

* Continuing to increase and broaden retirement plan and IRA knowledge Required Qualifications * 4+ years of sales experience, marketing experience, or a combination of both Desired Qualifications * FINRA registration including Series 7 and 66 (or FINRA recognized equivalents) * Ability to consult, build, and maintain solid working relationships in and outside of immediate department * Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment * Ability to work independently * Knowledge and understanding of defined benefit plans, non-qualified plans or 401(k) recordkeeping * Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills * Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills * Intermediate Microsoft Office skills Other Desired Qualifications * Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist SM (CRPS®) designation or other approved retirement industry designations Job Expectations * Ability to travel up to 10% of the time Salary Information The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
